1)Child and Parent Ski Lessons
Starting the week of February 14th there will be cross country ski lessons available for children aged 8-11 who bring along a parent to learn and have fun with them on the snow. Equipment can be supplied or you can bring your own. The program will run for four weeks with the cooperation of the weather. The first two weeks will be on the flat terrain of Lingan Golf Course. The next two weeks will take place at Seaview Golf Course where the terrain will allow participants to test their skills on more rolling terrain. The program will start at 4:30 with equipment available at 4:00 PM. Sessions will end between 5:30 and 6:00 depending on conditions. The registration cost for this family opportunity is $60 per child with parent. If interested call John Hudec at Cape Breton University (902) 563-1982 or email John_hudec@CBU.ca
2) Formation of a Cape Breton Regional Municipality Nordic Ski Club
