A highlight of his career is that Hilton did his first marathon at age 75, when a lot of us will be long past any consideration of such things. He had a very distinguished career as a boxer in his youth, and has always been fit.
Hilton is certainly an inspiration to me, and I wish him well in his running retirement.
Don't worry, you'll still see Hilton as he plans to volunteer at the races as much as possible. He speaks very highly of the running community here in Cape Breton and wants to remain a part of it.
